Stavropol State Medical University start admitting international students since 1961. Since then, over 1700 physicians, residents, and fellows from 82 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America have graduated from the University.Nowadays, more than 500 foreign students from 34 countries of the world are trained at three faculties of the University: General Medicine, Pediatrics and Dentistry. Stavropol State Medical University is effectively integrating into the pan-European educational space. The university works together with the non-profit partnership National Union of Medical Students, which joins medical universities in 14 cities of the Russian Federation.
